I just called T-Mobile in researching another story and found out that their Total Internet plan has dropped from $29.99 to $19.99 a month. The only change is the price of the data plan, the total internet plan still includes access to T-Mobile’s hotspots. the price change should be automatic, but if you don’t see it reflected on your bill call up T-Mobile to change it… you can just dial 611 from any T-Mobile handset.
I wonder if the hotspot only plan will go down in price, $20-25 seems normal for the various hotspot services, but if i was a tmobile hotspot customer I’d be miffed to pay the same price as another T-Mobile customer and get less services.

This changed months ago (Sept-Oct 2007). My understanding is that you MUST call to make the change. They don’t automatically do it, at least in my case, and the case of a co-worker.
