    Fring brings VoIP to the iPhone, at least over Wifi on the go | (1)
    Fring just released version 2 of its integrated communications software to the iPhone App Store, including the ability to use both Skype and SIP voice calling when connected to a wifi hotspot. Apple has said that VoIP over wifi would be possible on the iPhone and Fring is the first to make it happen. For those that aren't familiar, Fring looks and acts like an IM client that includes voice technology.     Skype Testing Java-based Mobile Client on the go | (1)
    Skype recently announced the release of a Skype Mobile client for 'mass market mobile phones.' They already had a version that would run on Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Smartphones, but this install works on virtually any one of 50+ Java-enabled phones. This public beta is meant to gauge interest in the new product and to fine-tune the client. As of right now, the Skype mobile beta offers SkypeIn service, which allows for incoming calls, in about 15 markets.
