    New Google Search Plugin for Windows Mobile on the go | (2)
    Google announced a Home Screen Plugin for Windows Mobile that will allow you to perform mobile searches up to 40% faster. This is a great Windows Mobile plugin for quicker access to the mobile web. Basically you type in your query and hit enter or search and your Pocket PC quickly loads Pocket IE and takes you directly to the search results. I'm not sure if there's a way to change the default browser, but please let me know.     Fring Free Mobile IM and VOIP Gets Reviewed reviews | (1)
    Fring is designed to turn your mobile phone into a VOIP-enabled handset that managed contacts based on your IM contacts. At it's core, it provides a full free windows mobile im client. Then they used this framework to allow contact management and VOIP or SIP functionality. Overall their interface is smooth and they manage the various IM protocols better than just about anything that I've seen. They also manage the data connection on my Pocket PC very well.     The Skyfire Mobile Browser aims to enable Windows Mobile users to surf rich media websites that require Javascript or even Flash. They do this using a server as a proxy to load the site and allows you to view it on your phone. This is important, because they do collect information on your surfing habits. Honestly, I'd prefer they aggregate my data to support their costs than charge me a subscription.     I had a chance to get my hands on a Windows Mobile 6.1 homebrew release late last night. You might be asking what all the noise is about this new release on the web? Windows Mobile phones are likely the most hacked mobile phones on the market today. There's a strong Pocket PC Developer Community and are compatible with virtually any hardware.
