    Tufte offers a good map as an excellent example of how to display a rich array of information. Artists also take inspiration from maps and sometimes base their work around them. Author Katherine Harmon’s new book The Map as Art showcases 360 pieces of work where the artist drew from maps in some way.     ‘Stalking Dave’ Map Online! work | (1)
    The Stalking Dave map shows you my location in near real time! I'm using cell phone triangulation tool Navizon to upload my current location from my Windows Mobile phone. Then I mash it up with Yahoo Pipes and display it on a Google Map. The map also shows my latest status update or blog post. There are technical details on the Map page if you want to try it yourself.
