Dating DNA has just announced their iPhone interface for browsing potential dates on the mobile web. They're an up-and-comer in the online dating space and markets their service as a Social Networking dating site. It's completely free in a market space where subscriptions are par for the course and much more usable than the other major free site, Plenty of Fish. Then Dating DNA asks you to weight the different variables such as living situation, ...

IvySkin Xylo T2 Hard Case for the iPhone on the go | Comments Off
Ivyskin has announced their forthcoming line of T2 Hard Cases for the iPhone. Their goal was to provide the protection of a hard case without interfering with the usability of the touchscreen. The Standard T2 is a simple plastic case that fits snugly around the iPhone leaving only the ports and the button exposed. The Xylo T2 Hard case will also be available with Chrome accents for a slightly nicer finish. It also looks like you will be able to get it in Grey or Black with red accents like the classic Xylo skin. If only there were a way ...

Dope Wars x iPhone = iDope on the go | Comments Off
If you ever dreamed of being a Drug KingPin and have a jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch, you can download the iPhone version of Dope Wars called iDope. The first stable release was created by wahkiz and the first stable release was just announced yesterday. The current version has five different cities and allows you to buy or sell in bulk. It crashes at times, but at least he created an Auto-save function. Hopefully wahkiz can work out the kinks and maybe even create an official iPhone application. Check out screenshots after the jump. Super Monkey Ball Coming for iPhone on the go | Comments Off
Sega has announced that they're working on a release of the popular gaming series Super Monkey Ball that is targeted for the iPhone. I can't imagine a better game to make use of the accelerometer built into the iPhone and iPod Touch to help roll your monkey through dangerous levels while collecting bananas and other bonuses. This is also one of the best 'casual games' from the console world, so hopefully it will be well executed on the mobile platform. iPhone gaming might just be a hot trend as developers get a chance to release their iPhone SDK applications. We've already ...

Quake 3 for iPod Touch on the go | (1)
Scott from Hermitworks has modified Quake 3: Arena to run on the iPod Touch. The Quake codebase was released under GPL in 2005 and is now known as ioquake. He's managed to use the accelerometer built into the iPod Touch and to allow for online multiplayer gaming. They haven't released a fully playable version quite yet, but hopefully soon. Hermitworks also created Space Trader, a desktop game that is also based on the Quake 3 source code. Space Trader is available for Windows Mac and Linux platforms for 19.99 and they have made the code available on their blog. Hopefully they ...

Touchscreen Gaming: CrazyKart for iPhone on the go | Comments Off
French mobile gaming developers Int13 have released a preview of their upcoming iPhone touchscreen release CrazyKart which is slated for July. Apparently the game was originally developed for Windows Mobile and Synbian, and they're in the process of porting it to run on the iPhone. This game includes multiple vehicles and characters and the ability to download more options from the web. The interesting thing to me is seeing what looks like a really usable interface for touchscreen gaming. There has been a lot of buzz surrounding mobile gaming on the iPhone since the SDK release. I think the real ...
