    It’s truly amazing that the best-selling smartphone on American soil doesn’t have the ability to send picture and video messages using MMS messages. Sure, iPhone users can email each other all day, but couldn’t send pictures to anyone else. Now, after the third generation of the iPhone came out earlier this year, AT&T’s network is finally ready to carry MMS messages from iPhone 3G and 3GS users on September 25.     AT&T Mobility CEO Ralphe de la Vega signaled yesterday that the company would soon be releasing an iPhone tethering option to iPhone 3G "soon." For the un-initiated, tethering means sharing your phone's Internet connection with your laptop. It's a great way to get online when you unexpectedly need to get online when there's no available Wi-Fi connection.
