    Boingo x Fring: Two Steps Ahead on the go | (0)
    This week at CTIA, wireless access aggregator Boingo announced a new partnership with Fring to bring chat and instant messenger services to their users. Boingo allows frequent travelers to pay one monthly service charge to access dozens of wifi hotspots at airports and locations like McDonalds. In February Boingo announced that they were releasing an application for Windows Mobile 6 users to log into their network at a reduced monthly charge.     Fring Free Mobile IM and VOIP Gets Reviewed reviews | (1)
    Fring is designed to turn your mobile phone into a VOIP-enabled handset that managed contacts based on your IM contacts. At it's core, it provides a full free windows mobile im client. Then they used this framework to allow contact management and VOIP or SIP functionality. Overall their interface is smooth and they manage the various IM protocols better than just about anything that I've seen. They also manage the data connection on my Pocket PC very well.     AIM: First Native iPhone IM Client work | (0)
    Today AOL announced a Native and fully supported AIM client, the first officially supported IM client for the iPhone. This comes on the heels of the OpenAIM 2.0 announcement yesterday. Native applications mean no more breaking your phone or having to stay online to receive instant messages. The engineers have been working around the clock to release this application in time for todays press conference and demonstrated a live chat on stage at the iPhone SDK release press conference.
