Worms: A Space Oddity for Wii and Mobile on the go | (1)
In my opinion, Worms is one of the most classic game franchises in history for PC Gamers. It ranks right up there with Oregon Trail in terms of multiplayer fun and ease of play. As the casual gaming market is undergoing a resurgence via the Wii and mobile gaming platforms, Worms is a title that I'm happy to see come up again. Last month, THQ announced that the release of Worms: A Space Oddity for the Wii platform. This will include the normal multi-player siege as well as single-player games. It's always difficult to say how playable a game will be ...

Guitar Hero On Tour for DS play | Comments Off
Activision announced their upcoming release of Guitar Hero On Tour for the Nintendo DS. It comes with a Guitar Grip controller that you attach to the side of your DS to add frets. It's not entirely clear how playable it is with the screen open and your hand wrapped around the side. If they did, Guitar Hero is so addictive that I'm sure we'll start seeing people taking their Guitar Grip everywhere. Hands on with the Wii Zapper play | Comments Off
Nintendo recently released a 'Zapper' gun accessory to allow two-handed machine gun like grip for shooting games, while keeping the nunchuck available for movement. I had a chance to play around with the Zapper and Link's Crossbow training. I'm a huge fan of shooting games in general and it was an enjoyable play. It's not really a full game, as we managed to beat it (albeit with all Bronze) in just one night. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable mini-game. The grip is slightly awkward and takes a while to get used to. As a righty, I ended up using my ...

Gameboy Trexi figure?? play | (2)
Here are some pictures of a classic GameBoy Trexi figure design from pocketwookie. I couldn't find any pictures of a completed figure, but I think it would totally rock. Drop by and ask the wookie (nicely) if he plans on working on it. Note: Please do not anger the wookie. You wouldn't like him when he's angry.

Mega Man goes munny play | (1)
Here's a cool video game inspired munny from Canadian game animator and vinyl artist Albert Art. You can see his Mega Man munny and some pictures from his workshop at his blog over here. He used sculpey to create the helmet shape and finished it with acrylics. It would have been especially ironic to make this from a Mega Munny.
