Handango opening Android store for premium content

Handango has announced that it will be opening a mobile applications store to distribute premium content to Android users within weeks of the G1 release on Oct 22. The store will offer downloads of premium content and a payment system that will be able to distribute applications on a free, one-time fee or subscription basis. Handango CEO Bill Stone hopes that customers "will want to try the Android device but are comfortable purchasing from Handango."
