The stars have aligned and it looks like I should be getting an iPhone. Hopefully on Friday, but I’m not above scouring every AT&T store within 60 miles to find one if need be.
I’ve been using a Pocket PC running Windows Mobile for the last 2 years. I really like having a keyboard, but the constant reboots are killing me. Then the touchscreen stopped working and I was on the prowl for a new phone. Since I’m a mobile web blogger and such a big proponent of location based services, the iPhone is a really great choice.
Not only does Apple have a huge developer community that is cranking out applications for the iPhone, the GPS included puts it over the top. To get a similar PDA to the iPhone with GPS and Windows Mobile will be more expensive for a worse user experience.
