You might be able to find a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV today, but you probably won’t be able to get your grubby little hands on this custom Grand Theft Auto IV Munny custom by Scave. There’s a KidRobot forum thread over here if you want more info.
Back to the release of GTA IV though, why is there no Wii version? I like to play GTA, I also like to point my Wiimote and shoot stuff…. doesn’t this seem like a good combination? I guess I’ll just be content getting my tail handed to me in Worms: A Space Oddity for the Wii. I talk a lot of smack, but the computer has it against me…

The reason there’s no GTA4 on the Wii is multifold.
Most obviously, the Wii is simply not a powerful-enough system to handle GTA4. Its lackluster graphics abilities are just a shade above that of the Gamecube, and it wouldn’t be able to handle the huge Liberty City without a loading period on every street corner….it simply can’t compete with the 360 or the PS3 in that area.
Secondly, the Wii player is not usually the kind of person who likes Grand Theft Auto. Most Wii players are older (as in, 40+) gamers who are just getting started, or younger (13-) who could never get a hold of anything rated M. GTA4 simply would not sell well if made for the Wii.
