Get your Zimbra Mail anywhere with ZimbraME

Zimbra

As if the ability to build your own scalable webmail infrastructure on the open source Zimbra platform wasn’t enough, now you can also access your mail from virtually any phone. They already had a mobile web interface and clients for Windows Mobile, Palm and for Symbian. Zimbra Mobile Connector will allow you to connect with a Blackberry, though it’s a server-based proxy.

The newly released ZimbraME is an open source email client for mobile phones that was built on J2ME. This means that you can access email from virtually any phone on the market today. They have Over-the-air (OTA) downloads available for the Motorola RAZR, Nokia or many Blackberry phones. Since being acquired by Yahoo, Zimbra has continued to offer open source email solutions under the Yahoo Public license.
