The Gmail team has released a mobile web interface for managing tasks on your iPhone or Android-based phone. You can check out Gmail tasks by pointing your mobile browser at gmail.com/tasks to get started with your Gmail account.
You can set up multiple lists and add entries by simply clicking the New Task icon and entering your list item. The Tasks items also include an extra field for Notes in case you need to add more detail. Then you can Edit, Check Off and Clear completed tasks from your Lists.
A simple and accessible Tasks application has been notably missing from the iPhone from its outset. While Gmail tasks might not have everything that a serious GTD devotee would want, it’s good enough for organizing tasks or writing up a quick shopping list.
