One of the most obnoxious features lacking from the iPhone is the ability to copy and paste between applications. It’s not been possible to send a text message to some friends and then copy the text into an email for someone else.
Now iSpazzio has created an application called Clippy that allows you to cut and paste between various applications. The user interface is fairly inventive and, more importantly, just plain works.
To use Clippy to copy and paste text, start by simply highlighting the desired text with your finger. Then click on the ’123′ button to switch to the number menu and ‘Copy’ and ‘Paste’ buttons will appear at the top. Then put your cursor wherever you want the text to go- in a Note, Email or SMS and click the ‘Paste’ button to make it appear.
Cheers to iSpazio for creating such a good implementation of this integral tool. The ‘solo su iSpazio’ text in the menu every time is a little much, but a small price to pay.
