The Giinii Movit is a handheld Wi-Fi tablet running Google’s Android operating system. The Movit features a 4.3″ touch screen and front-facing camera that is perfect for Skype.
The Movit is being touted as the Android version of the iPod Touch. The 4.3″ screen actually trumps the iPod Touch’s 3.5″ display, though in a much larger form factor. It could be the ultimate Android Wi-Fi phone if the rumors of an impending Android release are true.
Giinii representatives at the show wouldn’t comment on whether the Movit was running Android’s new Cupcake branch. However, it’s fairly likely to be Cupcake, as the main trunk of Android doesn’t support on-screen keyboards yet.
Other features include:
- 480 x 272 resolution
- 256 MB of storage
- Bluetooth 2.0
- Built-in microphone/speaker
- Stereo headset jack
- Mini USB 2.0 port
- Camera
