Beejive is set to unveil the second release of its premium iPhone instant messaging software to the iTunes App Store tomorrow with some great new features. I’ve been a huge fan of Fring for free Push-to-Talk and Beejive has included a similar push-to-talk feature for the iPhone.
The new version of Beejive will also have the ability to transfer images and files over the air. You can send pictures and attach a voice note to go along with them. You can also share files via IM easily with Beejive.
Other features are more trivial but handy, such as address book linking. This allows you to link your contacts to their telephone number so that you can press to call them from Beejive. You also have the option to change the IM sound notifications between a few options.
Overall the Beejive IM application is fairly impressive. I’m not sure whether it warrants the $15.99 cent price tag over free applications like Fring or Palringo, but it certainly has a nice interface and tons of features.
