Australian mobile phone company Kogan is holding a presale event for the Agora phone, the second device that will be released running Google’s Android operating system. There will be two versions of the Agora phone running Android, with one being donned the Agora Pro.
The devices feature a Blackberry-esque for factor with a full QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen in both models. The difference between the two models are Wi-Fi, GPS and a 2.0 megapixel camera included in the Agora Pro.
One of the coolest things about the new Android Agora models is that they are available without a contract for a reasonable price. At just 299 AUS or 399 AUS, the standard model is just $192.44 and the Pro version comes in at just 256.80. In many cases a similar phone would cots as much after rebate with a 2-year contract in the US, so it seems like a really good deal.
