AOL is sponsoring the Tech Cocktail Conference next week in Chicago, so I get to head out there to press some flesh and hopefully squeeze in a post or two. In case you’re not familiar, Tech Cocktail has been supporting the startup community through events and mixers in Chicago, DC and Boulder. The Tech Cocktail events are put on by Frank Gruber and Eric Olson.
This is the first full conference that Tech Cocktail is putting on and they have a stunning list of speakers. Gary Vaynerchuck of Wine Library TV will be giving the keynote, and there will also be speakers from 37Signals, Feedburner, Threadless, Goowy and Lijit, all of which are compelling startup success stories. In addition, the agenda is focused on starting up a business, from finding funding to productivity and promoting your business.
AOL’s own Jen Consalvo will also be contributing to a panel discussion on Understanding your Audience. Jen is the Director of Product Management that launched the myAOL suite that includes a custom homepage, Magnet news discovery and a feed reader.
