According to tmonews, T-mobile may be releasing one or perhaps two new sidekicks this summer. No FCC filings have been found to provide additional information yet, but keep your ears open for the SK Gekko, and or the Sidekick Aspen, which may signal the release of the Sidekick 4 line. They’re also predicting the release of a Limited Edition Tony Hawk Sidekick that are rumored to be dropping July 16th.
The sidekick is a fun, hip, mobile phone with a handful of applications ranging from the old terminal monkey SSH program to native IM services. Danger, Inc has recently been acquired by Microsoft with little announcements as to the future of the Sidekick.
