Unless I’ve been sleeping under a rock lately, super-mega Blog Engadget just launched a redesign of their site. They seem to have cleaned up the navigation and made the column with the actual stories in it a bit wider. It feels a lot less busy for a site that has four large banner or Square ads on the page.
It’s good to see that Engadget is still focused on improving the experience for their viewers and that they haven’t become complacent in terms of design. Gizmodo recently redesigned their header image, but unfortunately gaudy design seems to be the landmark of every Gawker property.

Note: Engadget is owned by AOL and they pay my salary, but I have nothing to do with design or marketing for either.
