DC Blogging This Week

Meetup

Being a newer blogger to DC, I’m still learning about the overall tech scene in DC. This week I learned about two must-know resources for local bloggers covering topics anywhere from Emergent Technology to High Society.

The first is the Washington Blogger Meetup, which is this Wednesday at 7pm at RFD’s in the district. This seems to be a breeding ground for new blogging talent and opportunity to share information and ideas with other local bloggers that may not necessarily be competing in the same space. Or if you’re like me, it sounds like a great reason to meet some new people and savor a fine pint or two. The Meetup is being coordinated by Nikolas ‘Atrus’ Coukouma.

Another resource that I found that seems like a great way to promote local blogging is DC Blogs. It’s a consortium of editors and comprehensive list of local writers and resources about DC.
