Looking for a good Windows Mobile SSH client for your phone? For all of the Unix and Linux professionals out there, having a good SSH Client for your Pocket PC could mean the difference between leaving a conversation with a beautiful person of the opposite sex early or closing the deal for the evening. Ok, well this situation isn’t exactly realistic because if you excuse yourself to type a bunch of text on your phone, you’ve likely blown it anyway.
However you may be able to finish that beverage and have another with this handy application. PocketPutty is full of features and steps in on Windows Mobile to perform as the Windows Client has always been known to do. With full SSH1 and SSH2 support, restarting apache or even pulling up pine is a snap. It’s also a tiny footprint, so will be easy on your rom’s storage.
All this, and it’s the only free Windows Mobile SSH client that we can find. MidpSSH has a java midlet, though I can’t seem to log into anything with it.
