Hasbro has released a line of Kubrick Star Wars and Super Hero toys called Mighty Muggs that make Urban Vinyl accessible to everyone at only $10-15 bucks a pop. And it’s so easy when you don’t have to think up your own ideas and spend all that time painting! You don’t even need to care about which artists’ style you like- it’s all right there on your Toys’R'Us shelves for the taking.
On one hand it’s good to see big business starting to focus on good design. Hopefully they’re also taking good care of their artists. One of the better things about Vinyl Art will still be the ability to take it beyond a G rating.
