Yesterday Google released a Talkback badge for the Google talk service. This means you can can paste the badge code into your blog and allow readers to see if you’re online and IM with you. This is well inline with the current products on the market such as Meebo and AIM Wimzi. The only thing I noticed that was odd is that it must be displayed in an iframe. That immediately makes in ineligible for use on Myspace and Facebook right there. It’s definitely the cleanest of them all though and takes up the least space.
