It's pretty obvious when you look at the stories they've done on her. Julia updates her blog loads of times a day, so VW ironically says that she "took time from a busy punditry schedule for a rare update to her personal blog". Calling her "Mossberg-esque" is all part of the joke. Julia never pretends to be a tech-evangelist or whatever - she concentrates on dating, clothes and her fluffy pet dog.
